Alma Cafe – Mid-City

The larger Mid-City home of chef Melissa Araujo’s acclaimed Honduran cooking, Alma brings soulful dishes like baleadas, plátanos, and slow-cooked stews to North Carrollton. The expanded space adds an oyster bar with happy-hour specials and an in-house tortillera turning out fresh tortillas all day, with daily brunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. A two-time James Beard Best Chef South semifinalist, Araujo cooks the food of her home country with real heart.
