A family-run Cajun-Creole fine-dining room from chefs Greg and Mary Sonnier, Gabrielle reopened on Orleans Avenue in 2017 after a long post-Katrina hiatus. Regulars come for the slow-roasted duck, the New Orleans barbecue shrimp pie, and a dark, smoky quail gumbo that’s become a signature. Warm, personal, and quietly excellent.
