Ernie K-Doe’s storied music club, reborn under world-famous trumpeter Kermit Ruffins, on North Claiborne. The mural-covered lounge is a shrine to K-Doe and one of the city’s few Black-owned music venues, with Kermit himself often on the bandstand and barbecue coming out of the kitchen.
