St. Patrick’s Church
St. Patrick’s Church, established in 1833, is the second-oldest Catholic parish in New Orleans and was built to serve the growing Irish immigrant population. Its impressive neo-Gothic architecture and towering spire dominate the skyline near the Central Business District.
The church continues to hold traditional Latin Masses and serves as a beacon of Irish-American culture and history. Its stained-glass windows, vaulted ceilings, and intricate carvings make it a must-visit for lovers of sacred architecture.
