Audubon Wilderness Park
Audubon Wilderness Park is a protected bottomland hardwood forest located upriver in Algiers, offering trails and educational programs focused on native wildlife and habitats. It’s open on weekdays for self-guided visits and on weekends by reservation for group programs. The park provides a rare glimpse into one of the few remaining hardwood forest areas in New Orleans.
