Dew Drop Social & Benevolent Society Hall – Mandeville

Built in 1895, the Dew Drop Social & Benevolent Jazz Hall in old Mandeville is considered the oldest unaltered rural jazz hall in the country. Louis Armstrong and other early greats once played its small wooden room, and today the city-owned, National Register landmark still hosts live jazz that carries the music’s roots forward.

Address: 430 Lamarque Street, Mandeville, LA, 70448
