The parklike grounds of the Milton H. Latter Memorial Library, a grand 1907 mansion on St. Charles Avenue given to the city in 1948. Spanning a full block along the streetcar line, the lawns and oaks make a serene stop, and the library inside is open to the public. A graceful bit of Uptown.
