Pontchartrain Park & Bartholomew GC
Pontchartrain Park anchors the historic neighborhood of the same name, developed in the 1950s as a community for Black New Orleanians and long a point of local pride. Along with open green space and walking room, it’s home to the Joseph M. Bartholomew Municipal Golf Course, named for the pioneering Black golf-course designer. A welcoming place for a round, a walk, or a family afternoon.
