Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is a centuries-old live oak in Audubon Park, one of the most iconic natural landmarks in New Orleans. Its massive, sprawling horizontal limbs and dramatic silhouette make it a beloved gathering spot, a favorite of photographers, and a shaded resting place for runners and parkgoers. The tree is visible along the inner trail and is considered one of the finest examples of Southern live oak in the city.
