Joe W. Brown Park

Joe W. Brown Park is a 163-acre green space in New Orleans East, donated in 1959 in memory of oilman Joe W. Brown. The grounds hold a stadium and running track, a recreation center and public pool, playgrounds, and sports fields, plus walking trails and a lake for fishing and canoeing. Seasonal highlights include summer paddling and a popular holiday light display.
